Audit Senior role at DJH, a UK accounting firm expanding into Ireland through a merger with MSD Accountants. You'll lead onsite audit engagements for diverse clients across franchise, construction, hospitality, and logistics sectors, managing teams of trainees while ensuring high-quality audit delivery.
In July this year, MSD Accountants joined forces with DJH, becoming the group’s first office in Ireland. This strategic partnership expands MSD’s service offerings to its established client base, while also marking a significant milestone for DJH in its international expansion - enabling enhanced cross-border planning, EU regulatory compliance, and broader support for UK clients operating in Europe.
As an Audit Senior, you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced audit team, working closely with partners in the Audit team on a diverse portfolio of clients which operate across a broad range of sectors including; franchise operators, construction , hospitality and logisitic companies.
It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:
- Get fully involved in the process, planning and executing audits for our fantastic clients.
- Lead the onsite audit team to deliver high quality and slick audits by planning, controlling and reviewing work.
- Attend client audit planning meetings.
- Cultivate long-lasting relationships becoming the go-to for clients whilst you’re out on site.
- Wow clients daily, getting to know their business to deliver great experience.
- Coach, lead and develop a team of trainees and semi-seniors.
Hungry for a new challenge, you’ll:
- Be ACA / ACCA or CPA qualified, at least 0-2 years post-qualification
- Have experience working in audit in an Irish or UK practice environment and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Have good knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
- Be tech-savvy, with a knowledge of CaseWare desirable.
- Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
- Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
