Auditor (Senior Auditor)
The initial tour of duty is 36 months in length, with a possible extension of up to an additional 24 months, subject to mission needs, employee performance and management approval. Extensions are not guaranteed. Selected candidates(s) must agree to complete their full 36-month tour. Employees will be required to sign a transportation agreement and minimum service agreement prior to their assignment overseas.
Ensures that quantitative methods and computerized auditing techniques are being utilized as appropriate in the audit process and reports.
Communicates DCAA audit services and maintains audit liaison with acquisition officials.
Responsible for applying all relevant concepts, policies, and principles—including GAGAS, GAAS, and fiscal law to ensure audit objectives are met in full compliance with established standards.
Serves as a member of a participative work team (PWT) of professional auditors and may be required to provide temporary duty (TDY) assistance to the Saudi Arabia Suboffice based on staffing and workload demands
Oversee the audit lifecycle by evaluating audit programs, monitoring progress, and reviewing all documentation to ensure work is accomplished in accordance with GAGAS and GAAS
Must be a U.S. Citizen as verified through E-Verify Program. Selective Service: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (see www.sss.gov) Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport. Selectee and eligible dependents will be required to obtain official (no fee) passports and SOFA Stamp prior to assignment. May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations. Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). For a critical sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. For a special sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level AND you will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph. Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing. If you are selected for a special sensitive position, you will be placed in a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to such a position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment. Financial Management (FM) Certification Program: As a condition of employment, the selectee must meet the requirements of the DoD FM Certification Program. The FM Certification Program is a course-based program consisting of three certification levels. Level II certification must normally be completed within two years of the selectee's employment start date. Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification Program: As a condition of employment, the selectee must meet the requirements of the DAWIA Certification Program. The selectee must obtain the required certification within the specified grace period for their applicable certification level, except that designated Key Leadership Positions at the GS-14/15 levels require certification completion at the time of assignment.
