About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Aurion Consultant to join our team on a fully remote, 6-month contract basis. You'll bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, supporting configuration, customization, architecture integration, and troubleshooting across the Aurion HR/payroll platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications within Aurion
• Configure and maintain Aurion modules (HR, payroll, leave, self-service, etc.) to meet organizational needs
• Design, build, and support integrations between Aurion and other systems (e.g., finance, rostering, time & attendance)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with end users and IT teams
• Support payroll processing cycles and ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and business rules
• Develop and maintain custom reports, workflows, and business rules within Aurion
• Assist with testing (unit, system, UAT) for upgrades, patches, and change requests
• Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions
• Provide training and support to end users as needed

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on Aurion platform expertise
• Strong understanding of payroll, HR processes, and Australian employment legislation (or relevant regional equivalent)
• Experience configuring business rules, workflows, and reports within Aurion
• Solid grasp of system integrations (APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, comfortable liaising with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working in a remote/distributed team environment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with Aurion upgrades or implementations
• Scripting experience for custom reporting
