Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspension systems, and exhaust systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and labor hours.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in Automotive Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Experience working with gas, diesel, and light commercial vehicles is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
