AutoCad Designer - Airport/aviation industry

ADB Safegate is seeking a skilled Designer to join its European Design & Consulting team in Belgium. You will manage airside design and consulting projects from concept to execution, coordinating designers, technicians and external consultants.

You will produce and review technical reports, calculations and design documents, develop airside infrastructure designs, prepare bills of quantities and technical specs for tendering, and ensure compliance with ICAO standards. Fluent English is required.

Managing airside design and consulting projects from concept to execution. Coordinating multidisciplinary teams (designers, technicians, external consultants). Producing and reviewing technical reports, engineering calculations, and design documentation. Developing airside infrastructure designs (lighting, signage, markings, cabling, AVDGS systems, etc.). Preparing bill of quantities and technical specifications for tendering and project execution. Ensuring compliance with ICAO standards and aviation regulations. Providing technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting design solutions. Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in tools, processes, and systems. Supporting and mentoring junior team members. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in design projects (aviation/airport industry strongly preferred). Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory). Good understanding of airside infrastructure and airport operations is a strong asset. Fluent in English. Based in Belgium or willing to relocate.
