Key Responsibilities
CAD Design & Drafting
- Prepare, modify, and maintain AutoCAD drawings for HVAC ducting systems and related building services.
- Produce accurate shop drawings and fabrication drawings in accordance with project specifications.
- Revise drawings based on comments from customers, consultants, architects, or project managers.
- Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, technical standards, and company specifications.
Project Quotation Support
- Generate standard quotations using the Company's quotation system based on approved drawings.
- Adjust pricing according to customer requirements, project specifications, and sales cost targets.
- Update drawings and quotations following design revisions or commercial changes.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure accurate and timely quotation submissions.
Manufacturing Drawing Preparation
- Prepare fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) for factory production.
- Coordinate with the Production team to ensure drawings meet manufacturing requirements.
- Review production feedback and continuously improve drawing quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise closely with Sales, Project, Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in resolving technical drawing issues during project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all project drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably in the HVAC, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Autodesk AutoCAD) and familiar with drafting standards.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quotation software is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with customers, consultants, and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
