Automation Developer (Playwright TypeScript / Karate Java)
Summary
Develops and maintains automated tests for web UIs using Playwright with TypeScript and for REST APIs using Karate Framework in Java, ensuring software quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation.
- Strong expertise in web UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Proven experience in REST API automation testing using the Karate Framework (Java).
- Solid understanding of API testing concepts, including:HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.)Request/response headersAuthentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth, etc.)JSON and XML payload validation
- Experience with Bitbucket for source code management and version control.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
