We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the plastic manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinates activities concerned with automation developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering

design.

- Reviews customer information to determine any new automation requirements/unique part handling/conveyance

requirements.

- Accepts responsibility for tracking budgets and monitors delivery dates for all automation being fabricated internally or outsourced.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime

- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize automation workflows

- Program and maintain PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics used in production lines

- Conduct testing and validation of automation equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards

- Document automation processes, procedures, and system configurations

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging automation technologies relevant to plastics manufacturing
