About the Job
We're looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who enjoys finding smarter ways to get work done.
You'll partner across Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, and the business to automate data and reporting workflows, reduce spreadsheet-dependent processes, strengthen data quality, and create reusable solutions that give teams more capacity for higher-value work.
What You'll Do
Identify and prioritize high-value automation opportunities across data, reporting, and engineering workflows
Build and maintain automation using SQL, Python, ETL, workflow technologies, and approved AI-assisted development tools
Automate data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and distribution
Replace manual and spreadsheet-dependent workflows with scalable technical solutions
Support Power BI data preparation, dataset refreshes, publishing, and reporting automation
Build reusable tools, data-quality checks, exception reporting, and process controls
Troubleshoot automations, data-quality issues, integrations, and recurring technical processes
Partner across technical and business teams to design, document, and deliver maintainable solutions
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in data automation, software development, data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or a related field
Strong SQL development, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
Proficiency with Python or a comparable scripting/programming language
Experience with ETL/ELT, workflow automation, data pipelines, and scheduled processes
Working knowledge of Power BI and related data and reporting workflows
Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and data quality
Ability to translate business processes into reliable, reusable technical solutions
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
Healthcare, HEDIS, compliance, audit, or regulated-industry experience is a plus
