Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop, program, and maintain PLC-controlled systems and equipment
• Configure, support, and optimize SCADA and HMI applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation, control system, and process-related issues
• Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
• Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure optimal system performance
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, control philosophies, and operating procedures
• Monitor and improve automated processes to meet operational and quality objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards

Skills & Experience:

• 3 - 10 years' experience in automation, control systems, or production environments
• Proven experience working with PLC-controlled processes and systems
• Strong PLC programming experience
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and HMI development
• Experience with industrial networks, communication protocols, and control systems
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with system commissioning, optimization, and operational support
• Knowledge of process improvement and production efficiency principles
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
