Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer with experience in automation systems, fabrication, machine assembly, and production support within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment improvement. This role works closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support automation projects, fabrication activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support automation, fabrication, and production-related activities within manufacturing operations

• Perform machine assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Carry out fabrication work, including machine modifications, mechanical fitting, and equipment setup

• Troubleshoot automation, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operations and production continuity

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance

• Support process improvement and automation enhancement projects to increase productivity

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics

• Support the testing, calibration, and validation of automation systems and production equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and production requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Relevant hands-on experience in automation systems, fabrication, machine assembly, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing operations.

• Additional certification or training in PLC programming, industrial automation, equipment maintenance, or fabrication would be advantageous.
