Automation Engineer (Playwright)

About the role
Join the quality assurance team as a Software QA Engineer and help ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality of new and existing software features. You will work closely with development and testing teams in an Agile environment to define and maintain quality standards, execute comprehensive testing, and continuously improve test processes and automation.
Key responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
Execute component, system, integration, regression, performance, and functional tests in line with agreed test cases and test plans.
Conduct functional testing on existing and new features.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the company’s QA processes.
Identify and implement improvements to test frameworks.
Maintain and expand the test automation suite using Playwright.
Report bugs accurately and concisely, and follow up promptly through to resolution.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to define, implement, and maintain quality standards.
Work effectively in an Agile development environment across Scrum teams.
What we're looking for
Experience in automated testing using Playwright.
Exposure to other test automation tools and frameworks is an advantage.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Strong analytical skills and a self-directed approach to learning new functional and technical skills required for effective testing.
Good understanding of build and deployment automation and continuous integration processes.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in Agile Scrum teams.
