Automation Engineer (System Design & Android Infrastructure)

Salary: RM 8,000 - RM 15,000 per month

Architect scalable automation systems, manage device fleets, and execute deep security testing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Fleet Orchestration: Design distributed automation systems to manage large-scale fleets of physical/virtual devices and concurrent API sessions.
• Android Kernel & Component Customization: Modify Android kernel components, develop custom ROMs, and optimize OS-level behavior to support automation workflows.
• Security & Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive web and mobile application penetration testing to analyze protocols and reverse-engineer application flows.
• Network & Protocol Implementation: Handle low-level network communications using WebSocket, mTLS, gRPC, and proxy routing architectures.
• Tech Research & Innovation: Explore, prototype, and integrate modern technologies (AI/LLMs, cryptography, video processing) to expand automation capabilities.

Requirements

• Backend & System Design: Past development experience in Go, Python, C#, or Java, coupled with practical distributed system design experience.
• Android Internals: Deep understanding of Android kernel architecture, OS component modification, custom ROM development, and full-stack app basics (JSON handling).
• Security Expertise: Proven hands-on track record in web and mobile app penetration testing and security assessment.
• Protocols & Networking: Thorough knowledge of modern communication protocols, including WebSocket, mTLS, gRPC, and proxy setups.
• Broad Technical Exposure: Familiarity with modern technology stacks including AI/LLMs, video streaming technologies, and cryptography.
• Essential Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, flexible/out-of-the-box problem-solving, high sense of responsibility, strict attention to following instructions, and the ability to take full project ownership with minimal supervision.
