Automation Engineer

A leading engineering company in Dalmine is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their Automation Team. This role requires a fresh graduate in Automation and Control Engineering with a passion for technology. The candidate will analyze production processes, develop automation systems, and work closely with senior colleagues for training and professional growth. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the steel industry and proficiency in Siemens PLC languages. Analyse customers' production processes and develop plant automation. Propose technological solutions and prepare functional specifications. Develop PLC/HMI software and draft required functional tests. Participate in commissioning of systems and provide after-sales assistance. At least 2 years' experience in developing automation systems for steel industry or industrial plants. Proficiency in Siemens TIA and Step 7 PLC languages. Knowledge of programming other major PLC brands is appreciated.
