Automation & Integration Specialist
Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience with Square API and/or OpenTable API integrations
- Strong experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make.com, or n8n, or custom API integration work
- Experience building financial forecasting tools or models is a strong plus
- Comfortable working with hospitality or retail POS data
- Able to translate a rough brief into a working, reliable system
- Good communicator, able to explain technical setup to a non-technical team
- Bonus: experience with dashboarding tools such as Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or Power BI, or scripting in Python or JavaScript
- Build an automated daily reporting system that pulls data from Square POS and OpenTable accounts
- Connect Squares API to pull daily sales, margin, and product-level data
- Connect OpenTable to pull booking, covers, and retention data
- Build automated workflows using Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or custom scripts to combine and process the data
- Deliver a daily summary report with key metrics and anomaly flags
- Document the setup so our team can maintain or extend it
- Roll out the reporting system across all venues after the pilot is proven
- Build a cash flow forecasting tool covering multiple facilities, repayment schedules, and revenue projections

We are a multi-venue hospitality group operating across the Coventry and Kenilworth area, including bars, restaurants, and event spaces. This is a freelance or fixed-term contract role with a negotiable day rate, offering remote-friendly working with occasional on-site presence in the Coventry/Kenilworth area. The initial focus is a single-venue pilot, with the opportunity to roll the solution out across our full portfolio of 5+ sites once proven. Our goal is to reduce manual reporting work and give our management team real-time visibility into daily performance and cash position.
