Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead and drive enterprise-wide test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining automation strategies, managing automation teams, establishing best practices, improving test efficiency, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's automation testing strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage automation engineers across multiple projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
  • Drive automation adoption across web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
  • Establish automation standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business teams.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor automation coverage, execution trends, and quality metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and test optimization.
  • Perform effort estimation, resource planning, and project tracking.
  • Provide regular status reports and quality dashboards to leadership.
  • Support release readiness and quality sign-off activities.
  • Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies.

  • Partner with delivery managers and stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives.
  • Promote continuous learning and innovation within the QA organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience leading automation teams.
  • Strong experience in designing enterprise automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise in web, API, mobile, and UI automation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI-driven testing tools and automation platforms.
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, ISTQB, or Automation Testing.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Banking, or Healthcare domains.
