Summary
QA tester roles in Singapore at an IT services firm: one Automation Tester maintaining and running Selenium test scripts locally and via Jenkins CI, and one Manual Tester writing and executing test cases while leveraging in-house GenAI for test creation, defect tracking, and GenAI performance monitoring.
Salary: $4,000 – $5,500 per month
We have 2 roles. We have Automation Tester role and Manual Tester role using GenAI.
1) Automation Tester (West - Jurong East)
About the role
We are looking for automation tester to perform hands-on automation testing using an existing Selenium-based automation framework. The role will involve maintaining and executing automated test scripts in both local and CI (Jenkins) environments.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing Selenium automation test scripts within an established framework
Execute and validate automation scripts locally before running in CI environment
Run automated test scripts via Jenkins for regression and execution cycles
Debug automation failures by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and fixing script issues independently
Ensure automation scripts are stable and executable in both local and Jenkins environments
Support regression automation execution and assist in LV automation activities where required
Contribute to improvements of the existing automation framework (e.g. refactoring scripts, improving stability, reducing flaky tests)
Work closely with stakeholders and regional teams to resolve automation issues
Ensure proper documentation of test cases, scripts, and execution results
Support continuous improvement of automation coverage
About you
Hands-on experience in Selenium automation scripting (must be able to maintain and modify scripts)
Ability to debug automation failures and interpret error logs independently
Basic to intermediate programming/scripting skills (Java/Python/VBA or similar)
Working knowledge of Jenkins for test execution and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket for version control
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
2) Manual Tester (East- Changi Business Park)
1. The role involves writing test cases, preparing and creating test data, executing and retesting test cases.
2. Able to leverage on inhouse GenAI for test case creation and enrichment
3. Ensure test runs and results are completed within the given time frame.
4. Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
5. Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
6. Perform functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software products.
7. Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders, and work on their resolution.
8. Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.
9. Monitor and analyze Gen AI use cases to ensure performance, data quality and accuracy.
10. Establish and refine scalable monitoring processes and key metrics to identify performance trends and potential issues proactively.
11. Prepare clear reports, management dashboards and executive updates on Gen AI accuracy, performance, trends and insights for stakeholders and governance forums.
