Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month
About the role
This is a QA Automation role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure software quality across multiple environments and applications.
Generic responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using either Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
Create and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests
Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts following QA best practices
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts
Perform manual testing when required to supplement automated test coverage
Execute test suites across multiple browsers, environments, and application versions
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Investigate test failures and collaborate with developers to identify root causes and resolve defects
Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing
Strong hands-on experience with at least two or more of the following automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress
Strong programming/scripting skills in one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or C#
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and software testing methodologies
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or other version-control systems
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
