Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly with Playwright and Python, and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with developers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and Python. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand testing needs. - Create and execute automated test scripts for various applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. - Utilize tools such as Jenkins and GitHub for continuous integration and version control. - Conduct API testing and ensure the reliability and performance of backend services. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the automation framework and test scripts. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Playwright and Python. - Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Pytest. - Strong understanding of framework design and development principles. - Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, Java, TestNG, and API testing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
