Automation Test Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer (API) with strong Java expertise to drive test automation for back-end services and integration layers. You’ll be part of a collaborative QA community, contributing to continuous improvements in automation strategy, frameworks, and tooling across multiple products and teams.
This is a fully remote role with a focus on API testing, quality engineering, and automation excellence within an agile, cross-functional environment.

- Strong coding skills in Java (Core Java, Maven) and experience with Spring Framework.
- Hands‑on work with API testing frameworks such as REST Assured / JUnit.
- Experience with Cucumber (BDD, Gherkin syntax) and in‑sprint test automation.
- Proficiency with GIT, Jenkins, and Jira.
- In‑depth understanding of REST API types (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and HTTP/JSON protocols.
- Familiarity with message schemas (RAML) and request/response mechanisms.
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of service virtualization / STUBs.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, REST Client, or Anypoint.
- Understanding of retail banking processes or financial products.
