Automation Test Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in .NET-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, along with a strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using .NET-based frameworks.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with C#/.NET.
• Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools).
• Identify, report, and track defects using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Test Plans).
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and test efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in C# / .NET for test automation.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in designing automation frameworks (Data-driven / Keyword-driven / Hybrid).
• Good understanding of OOPs concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with SpecFlow / BDD frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience in containerization tools like Docker..
