Automation Test Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks from the ground up, writing comprehensive test cases, and conducting manual testing where needed. This role requires someone who can work independently while communicating effectively with stakeholders across technical and non technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks
Write clear, thorough test cases covering functional and regression scenarios
Perform manual testing where automation isn't practical or is still being developed
Work with cloud based infrastructure (AWS) to support testing environments
Liaise with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and report on testing outcomes
Identify, document and track defects through to resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
About You
Proven experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch
Strong background in both manual and automated testing
Hands-on experience with AWS (or other cloud platforms)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate technical issues for non technical audiences
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred)
