The Job
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM), with Selenium for web and Appium for mobile.
- Write and run automated test scripts for web and mobile applications (iOS, Android).
- Test RESTful APIs and check that data is correct with SQL queries against MySQL.
- Write test scenarios using the Cucumber BDD framework.
- Add automated tests to the CI pipeline (Jenkins).
- Manage source code with Git and Sourcetree.
- Track test progress, test cases, and bugs in JIRA.
- Analyse issues, find root causes, and work with Dev, BA, and PO on fixes.
Your Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience using automation frameworks with test automation tools such as Selenium and Appium. Basic knowledge of an OOP programming language such as C# or Java.
- Skilled in automation framework design (POM), development, and implementation.
- Experience with a relational database (MySQL) and SQL queries.
- Proficiency with source control tools such as Git and Sourcetree.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiar with the Cucumber BDD framework.
- Experience with test tracking tools like JIRA.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools (like Jenkins).
- Deep knowledge of CSS, HTML, XML, and JSON.
- Experience in mobile automation testing (Appium, iOS, Android, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, with good working relationships with other team members.
