Automation Test Lead (API with Mobile & Cloud)

Job Role: Adv Automation + Mobile testing

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai

Work Mode: Hybrid

Experience: 6 - 10 years - (Specialist/Lead)

Skill: Automation testing, Playwright (Web Automation), Detox (Mobile Automation), Postman (API testing & automation)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain robust automation test suites across platforms: Playwright for web automation, Detox for mobile automation (iOS & Android), Postman for API testing and API automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create detailed specifications for API testing using Postman API tool.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium WebDriver for mobile devices (iOS & Android) as well as desktop applications.
• Validate mobile-specific behaviors such as navigation flows, device permissions, offline scenarios, and OS-level interactions.
  
• Contribute to and maintain BDD-based automation frameworks
  
• Execute testing for microservices-based architectures, including: REST API functional validation, Integration testing across dependent services.
  
• Work within Azure DevOps for build, release, and test execution coordination
  
• Ensure high-quality deliverables by reviewing code reviews, providing feedback on defects found during testing.

Job Requirements:

• 10 years of hands-on experience in QA and test automation 6-10 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java programming language
• Strong experience in mobile application testing (automation focus)
• Solid experience testing microservices-based systems and API-driven architectures
• Proficiency in Spec Flow or similar BDD frameworks for defining test cases.
• Experience with Detox or other mobile testing tools for iOS & Android platforms.
