Leads the design and implementation of enterprise-scale test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, covering web, API, and end-to-end testing.
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Manager / Automation Architect - Playwright & AWS to lead the design, development and implementation of enterprise - scale test automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with playwright and Typescript, building robust automation frameworks for web, API, and end-to-end testing **Key Responsibilities** · Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. · Define automation solutions, framework standards, reusable components, and best practices across projects. · Lead automation delivery for web, API, and end-to-end testing initiatives. · Collaborate with business, development, DevOps, and client stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. · Leverage AWS services to support test environments, automation execution, and cloud-native testing solutions. · Drive CI/CD implementation and test automation integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. · Perform code reviews and provide technical leadership to automation engineers. · Develop and execute SQL/PLSQL queries for test data setup, validation, and backend testing. · Mentor team members and support adoption of modern automation and quality engineering practices. · Utilize AI-powered tools and accelerators to improve automation productivity and delivery efficiency. **Required Skills** + Good experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. + Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript in enterprise-scale projects. + Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch and defining automation solutions. + Practical experience working with AWS cloud services. + Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps integration. + Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL. + Insurance domain experience preferred. + Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
