The Automation Tester is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality. This role plays a vital part in enhancing automation capabilities and integrating these processes within CI/CD pipelines, directly impacting the overall efficiency and reliability of software releases.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Develop test plans and test cases.
- Stay updated with the latest Playwright features and best practices.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes.
Key Requirements:
- Playwright - at least 3 Years
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Automated Testing
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Version Control (Git)
Nice to Have:
- Expertise in creating or modifying frameworks using Selenium Java.
- Proficiency in Agile Methodologies.
Other Details:
Experience Level: 5 to 7 years for Junior role, 8 to 10 years for Senior role. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of Playwright + TypeScript experience for Junior role; for Senior position, at least 3 years on Playwright + TypeScript is mandatory.
