For our Client from the banking industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join a long-term project focused on ensuring the quality of one of the organization's strategic products.

Location

• Warsaw, Gdańsk or Gdynia

• Hybrid model – 3 days per week in the office

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated frontend tests (primary responsibility)

• Support API test automation, including reviewing and creating automated API test cases

• Perform manual testing when required (approximately 30% of the workload)

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure adequate test coverage

• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle

• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements within the team

Must-Have Skills

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation

• Strong practical experience with:

  • Playwright

  • TypeScript (or JavaScript)

  • Cucumber with Java (for API test automation)

• Experience working with JIRA, qTest, and Git (Bitbucket experience is an advantage)

• Solid understanding of frontend testing principles and the Test Pyramid

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first mindset

• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document software defects

• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership

• Confidence in challenging assumptions and identifying edge cases

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Experience with JavaScript and Cypress for test automation

• Experience with Selenium

• Experience with Rest Assured for API test automation
