QE automation tester ensuring the quality and stability of backend systems behind a client's card management products. Day to day: designing test plans and scenarios, building automation scripts with Python and Behave, executing manual/automated tests, and contributing to CI/CD. On-site in Mandaluyong City.
Job Description
We are looking for a QE – Automation Tester to help ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of backend systems supporting client's card management products.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in automated testing using Python and Behave, with a solid understanding of testing strategies, system reliability, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop testing strategies to ensure system functionality, reliability, and stability
Analyze requirements and transform them into functional test scenarios
Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases
Design and develop test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports
Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Behave
Contribute to CI/CD initiatives and automation improvements
Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for release planning and testing activities
Identify defects, document issues, and support resolution efforts
Provide recommendations to improve system testability, scalability, and performance
Qualifications
At least 5 years of software development and automation testing experience
Strong proficiency in Python and the Behave testing framework
Solid experience in automated testing and verification
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Experience creating automation frameworks and automated test solutions
Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into functional test scenarios
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of at least one database technology such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB
Good understanding of software quality, scalability, reliability, and system stability
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to fintech, banking, or card management systems
Familiarity with distributed systems and backend services
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
