As an Automotive Assistant Service Manager at Georgica Auto Holdings, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing daily service department operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Service Manager in supervising service advisors and technicians, providing guidance and training.
* Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Schedule service appointments and manage the service bay workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity.
* Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper documentation and billing.
* Monitor service department performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, revenue, and repair times.
* Promote and sell automotive services, parts, and accessories to customers.
* Maintain a clean and organized service department environment.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as parts and sales, to optimize overall dealership operations.
* Step in for the Service Manager during their absence.
Compensation Range: $50,000 to $80,000+
Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automotive service department, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
* Proven track record of strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Solid understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
* Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and other relevant software.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in automotive technology is a plus.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
