Automotive Detail Technician - FULL TIME

Kocourek Imports is looking for a motivated automotive Detail Technician to join our team. Whether you're experienced or looking to start a new career, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

As a Detail Technician, you'll help create exceptional first impressions by ensuring every vehicle looks its absolute best before it's delivered to our guests.

What You'll Do

• Wash, dry, and detail vehicle exteriors.

• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors.

• Clean windows, mirrors, dashboards, door jambs, and upholstery.

• Apply waxes, protectants, and interior conditioners.

• Shampoo carpets and upholstery as needed.

• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality before delivery.

• Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work both indoors and outdoors.

• Previous detailing experience is a plus—but not required. We'll train the right person!

QUALIFICATIONS Basic automotive knowledge required. Past experience detailing with knowledge of what the process entails preferred. Experience using a buffer and carpet extractor preferred. Valid driver’s license required in order to perform essential job functions.

HOURS Full time, Monday-Friday. They may be asked or scheduled to work Saturdays.

ATTIRE Kocourek uniforms

PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.* Reaching above and below shoulder level.* Able to push materials/parts carts and push cars (with assistance).* Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to detail vehicles.* Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment.* May be exposed to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion.

* May be required to inspect vehicles outdoors in inclement weather.* May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise in repair center.
