Automotive Detail Technician

As an Auto Detailing Technician at Hippos Auto Spa, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-quality car detailing services using cutting-edge technology. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including steam cleaning, buffing, waxing, watermark removal, and rims cleaning. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cars, eager to learn, and willing to grow with our team. Experience is not a strict requirement as we provide on-the-job training. We are seeking candidates with excellent spoken communication skills in English or Swahili, as you will interact directly with our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Auto Detailing Services:
   

   • Perform car detailing services using steam technology, including interior and exterior cleaning.
     
   • Carry out tasks such as buffing, waxing, watermark removal, and rims cleaning to enhance vehicle appearance.
     

2. Customer Interaction:
   

   • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
     
   • Communicate service offerings and provide recommendations.
     
   • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their specific needs and preferences.
     

3. Quality Assurance:
   

   • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and detailing precision.
     
   • Follow company protocols to ensure consistent service quality.
     

4. Equipment Maintenance:
   

   • Properly maintain and clean detailing equipment and tools.
     
   • Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
     

5. Team Collaboration:
   

   • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
     
   • Assist with daily shop operations as needed.
     

• Minimum age 26
  
• Finished High school
  
• Technical training certificate is a plus
  
• Passion for cars and a strong desire to learn the art of auto detailing.
  
• Excellent spoken communication skills in English or Swahili to interact effectively with customers.
  
• Detail-oriented with an eye for cleanliness and quality.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company processes and standards.
  
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual.
  
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  
• Experience in auto detailing is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
