Automotive Engineer - Electrical Vehicle - Repair - Installation - IMMEDIATE
Job Description
- Perform diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot high-voltage (HV) systems, batteries, electric motors, inverters and charging systems.
- Conduct HV isolation and EV safety procedures in accordance with safety standards.
- Carry out electrical and electronic fault diagnosis and recommend suitable repair solutions.
- Ensure all EV repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians on EV repairs and safety procedures.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the workshop's EV repair and diagnostic capabilities.
- Support the selection and maintenance of EV diagnostic equipment, tools and technical resources.
- Explain repair findings and recommended maintenance to customers when required.
- Stay updated on new EV technologies and repair methods, while contributing to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in EV Automotive, Automotive, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with
- At least 5 years of relevant EV/Hybrid vehicle experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
