Summary: The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for presenting and selling financing, warranty, and insurance products to vehicle purchasers while ensuring a transparent, compliant, and positive customer experience. This role works closely with lenders to secure competitive financing options and is expected to uphold the highest standards of ethics, accuracy, and professionalism.
Essential Duties
- Present and offer vehicle financing and insurance products to customers in a clear and compliant manner.
- Explain aftermarket products, extended warranties, and all applicable manufacturer and dealership policies and procedures.
- Secure financing approvals through various lending institutions while maintaining strong lender relationships.
- Research and establish new lending sources to provide competitive rates and financing programs.
- Obtain required customer signatures, payoff information, and insurance documentation.
- Complete all required sales and leasing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review all deal documents for accuracy, including titles, liens, taxes, and related information prior to submission to accounting.
- Process financing and leasing transactions through appropriate federal, state, and corporate channels.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to vehicle sales and finance operations.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction throughout the finance process.
- Participate in weekly sales and finance meetings and collaborate across departments.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Promote teamwork and positive communication between Sales, Finance, and other departments.
- Remains fully compliant with Company HR training.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
