Automotive Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate the automotive maintenance center and oversee daily workflow.
• Supervise technicians, assign work orders, and monitor productivity.
• Review and diagnose vehicle faults, ensuring diagnostic accuracy before repairs are carried out.
• Monitor the quality of maintenance work and conduct final inspections before vehicle delivery.
• Review quotations and ensure customer approval is obtained for required work before execution.
• Follow up on repeat repairs and technical complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Control spare parts consumption and minimize waste and technical errors.
• Monitor the performance and discipline of the technical team and support staff development.
• Prepare and monitor operational reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work continuously to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the maintenance center.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance, preferably with previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong experience in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Experience in managing automotive maintenance centers or workshops.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound technical decisions.
• Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance management systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
