The Company…
The company is a well-established smash repair business, having operated
since 1969, and has grown to 26 panel beating locations across Victoria. They
have built a solid reputation for consistently producing high-quality work and
restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition in the shortest time
possible. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking a
qualified panel beater to join their professional and supportive team.
The Position…
The company is looking for an experienced and qualified Panel Beater to
work in their workshop in Croydon or Bayswater.
Some of the key position responsibilities include:
- Removing and replacing damaged panels.
- Using machinery for mechanical, hydraulic, and
metalworking purposes to replace or repair the damaged components.
- Reassembling the repaired components using
welding equipment.
- Utilising plastic fillers and a file to repair
dents; and
- Carry-out further exterior work as necessary to
keep the vehicle looking like new.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Trade qualified in panel beating or equivalent.
- Have expertise in smash work.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Maintain a solid work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Work to a high standard
- Have a current Australian
driver’s licence
