🔧 Position Overview

The Automotive Parts Advisor / Counter Sales Representative assists service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale clients by identifying, sourcing, and selling OEM and aftermarket automotive parts while supporting dealership parts operations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

• Assist customers and technicians at the parts counter and via phone/email
• Identify correct OEM and aftermarket parts using catalogs & systems
• Process parts orders, quotes, invoices, and transactions
• Manage special orders, backorders, and customer follow-ups
• Handle core returns, warranty claims, and parts returns
• Cross-sell and upsell parts and accessories
• Support inventory control, stocking, and organization
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and customer-focused parts department
• Work closely with Service Department and Parts Manager

✅ Qualifications

• Prior automotive parts advisor / parts counter / dealership parts experience required
• Knowledge of auto parts catalogs, inventory systems, and dealership operations
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Weekend availability required
