Cable Dahmer Cadillac of Kansas City is looking for a Service Advisor Assistant / Porter to join our Service team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, likes staying busy, and is interested in building a career in the automotive industry. This position will support our Service Advisors and customers while learning the day-to-day operations of a successful service department.
Our goal is to develop the right person into a future Service Advisor within the Cable Dahmer Automotive Group. You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced advisors, gain hands-on experience, and build the skills needed to take the next step in your career.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional experience from the moment they arrive.
- Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles.
- Assist Service Advisors with daily tasks, customer communication, and follow-up.
- Help coordinate vehicle readiness and customer delivery.
- Keep the service drive and customer areas clean, organized, and professional.
- Learn the service process, including how advisors communicate with customers, manage repairs, and prioritize their workload.
- Assist wherever needed to keep the department running smoothly.

What to Expect
This is an active, fast-paced position. You’ll spend much of your day on your feet, moving throughout the dealership, assisting customers, moving vehicles, and supporting the Service team.
Our Service department can get busy, so we’re looking for someone who can stay positive, communicate well, and follow through even when priorities change throughout the day.

You’ll work alongside experienced advisors and learn how they build customer relationships, communicate repair recommendations, coordinate service work, and manage a busy workload.
