ABOUT THE ROLE
  • As an Automotive Sales Consultant and Backup F&I, you will be the face of DeNooyer Automotive Family for our guests. You will guide customers through the vehicle buying experience, help them find the right vehicle for their needs, and build lasting relationships that continue long after the sale. This role will typically spend approximately 85% of the time on the sales floor and 15% supporting the Finance office, depending on dealership needs.
  • This role is ideal for someone motivated by people, competition, personal achievement, and earning potential. You will build your own customer base and grow your business while also developing your F&I skills by assisting with financing and protection products. We provide the training, technology, inventory, and support. You bring the drive and put your career in gear.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will uncover what matters to each customer, present the right vehicle and solutions, earn their trust, and build lasting relationships that continue long after the sale. In the Automotive Sales role, you will:
    • Demonstrate high moral and ethical standards in all aspects of job.
    • Effectively take each client through the Road to the Sale (see list for complete requirements)
    1. Establish a business relationship
    2. Discover needs and desire
    3. Set up the deal-trade appraisal
    4. Product Presentation

    7. Present a financial proposal
    8. Deliver the Vehicle
    • Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standard.
    • Maintain a three-month avg. of 9 cars sold per month.
    • Actively assist any guest that needs help.
    • Maintain current product knowledge as well as manufacturer and dealer certification requirements.
  • As a Backup F&I, you will support the Finance office by helping customers navigate the financing and protection process, presenting products and solutions that meet their needs, and ensuring each deal is completed accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. In the Backup F&I role, you will:
    • Process financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approval through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
    • Process all state title and licensing documents.
    • Present aftermarket products and vehicle service contract with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
    • Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance departments.
    • Provide a thorough explanation of vehicle financing and insurance to customers.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to stand or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and stretch.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in conditions such as: varying temperatures and weather elements; noise, dust, and fumes.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
