Capital CJDR of Garner is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team. As a Sales Consultant, you'll help customers find the right vehicle for their needs while providing an exceptional experience from the first conversation through delivery. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships, develop your sales skills, and grow your career with a team that values performance and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome and engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Recommend vehicles that align with each customer's lifestyle and automotive needs.
- Showcase vehicle features, technology, performance, and benefits.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact through vehicle delivery.
- Conduct test drives and answer customer questions with confidence.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales process and after the sale.
- Negotiate and close vehicle sales while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Stay up to date on current inventory, vehicle features, specifications, and manufacturer programs.
- Work toward and achieve individual and dealership sales goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity using dealership systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience preferred; automotive sales experience is a plus
- A strong customer service mindset and genuine interest in helping people
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, competitive, and results-driven personality
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership technology
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required pre-employment background screenings
