Hiring: Automotive Service Advisor

• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Onsite in: Des Moines, Iowa

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and create a professional experience from start to finish.
• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and help them feel confident about their service decisions.
• Explain recommended services, pricing, and timelines in a clear and helpful way.
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process and answer questions along the way.
• Partner with technicians to understand vehicle needs and communicate recommendations to customers.
• Create accurate repair orders and service estimates using dealership systems.
• Coordinate approved services and help keep repairs moving through the shop.
• Review inspection results and additional service recommendations with customers.
• Process service payments and help customers get back on the road.
• Build lasting customer relationships through honest communication and reliable follow-up.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years of customer service or other customer-facing experience.
• Experience communicating with customers in person and by telephone.
• Experience using computers to enter and maintain information.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
