Mankato Motors is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Mankato, MN!

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and assist with their automotive maintenance and repair needs.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service requests.
• Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines.
• Explain recommended repairs, service estimates, and timelines clearly and professionally.
• Communicate with automotive technicians to coordinate vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Prepare and manage repair orders, service estimates, and customer invoices.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that benefit the customer.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused service environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Service Consultant preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain automotive maintenance and repairs in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive service department.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and dealership management.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership service software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Schedule & Compensation

• Compensation: Up to $100,000+ annually, based on performance.
• Employment Type: Full-Time.
• Schedule: Weekdays and half-day Saturdays.
• Saturday Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
• Sunday: Closed.
• Location: 2031 Fern Lake Road, Mankato, MN 56001.
