Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Examining the vehicle to determine if any additional or safety work is required beyond the work order provided by the Service Advisor.
- Facilitate customer needs according to management
- Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
- Documenting work performed.
- Understanding and following Federal, State and Local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic) or recent completion of automotive tech/trade school with certifications
- State certifications
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
