Summary
Lead a team to integrate and test embedded software for automotive Telematics Control Units using C, AUTOSAR, CAN, and CI/CD pipelines.
Project description
Be part of a multinational team of engineers responsible for developing software for automotive Telematics Control Unit products. Technologies used: Embedded C, CAN, OSEK, RTOS, GSM, 3G/4G, AT commands.
Responsibilities
- Lead CI operations and manage the software integration testing and integration team for an automotive platform project.
- Develop software in accordance with ASPICE standards.
- Verify software requirements at component and bench levels.
- Apply knowledge of white, grey, and black box testing methodologies.
- Support functional disciplines in all software-related aspects.
- Independently design, implement, and test software components as a skilled software engineer.
- Perform intermediate to advanced software engineering tasks aimed at achieving full technical competence.
- Configure, implement, and automate Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines, including test automation frameworks.
- Continuously enhance the speed, efficiency, scalability, and stability of the continuous integration system and environment.
- Develop software following standard guidelines and safety requirements.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Utilize static code analysis techniques, including familiarity with MISRA standards.
SKILLS
Must have
- Knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
- Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16 bit and 32 bit micro-controllers including application for micro-controllers such as Freescale, PPC, ARM core, TI DSP, Microchip, Infineon and Renesas
- Experience in integrating Application Software components and ARXMLs in AUTOSAR based projects using EB Tools (AUTOSAR Builder and Tresos)
- Knowledge in code optimization for specific targets and compilers Practical Knowledge
- Working knowledge in structured engineering approach
- Working knowledge in integrating portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment.
- Experience in using a disciplined software integration process based on ASPICE process model.
- Working knowledge of configuration management, project monitoring and control techniques
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic
- Knowledge of analysis and engineering tools such as version control/configuration management, UML tools, static code check tools
- Working knowledge of CAN/Ethernet/LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe and CANape
- Experience in using VectorCast for unit testing
- Experience in using Cynosure, Jenkins, Gitlab, and Ansible ; Jenkins, Gitlab , Zuul, Git and Gerrit, Victoria, Zuul Web, and Grafana, Python/Pytest, YAML, Bash, C/C++ for low-level system development, Vector CAPL, Artifactory, Docker, AWS.
- Experience in using Lauterbach and/or iSystem debuggers
