Automotive SW Test Engineer

Nilux is expanding its automotive software capabilities and seeking multiple Automotive Software Test Engineers to join our growing operations in Cairo, Egypt. You will be part of an international cockpit testing project for next-generation vehicles, where you will:

• Deliver complex cockpit testing activities and provide technical guidance to on-site testing personnel.
  
• Build and maintain testing environments, performing both bench and real-vehicle functional validation.
  
• Create detailed test strategies and execute comprehensive test cases independently.
  
• Conduct integration, performance, stability, and compatibility testing for cutting-edge in-vehicle cockpit systems.
  
• Track defects throughout their lifecycle with clear documentation and traceability.
  
• Identify functional and system-level risks, escalate blockers, and actively drive issue resolution to maintain project quality.
  

This role is hands-on — you will be working directly with the systems that define the driver experience of tomorrow.

Requirements

• Strong command of Arabic and English.
  
• ​Experience in vehicle or automotive testing (bench and/or real-vehicle).
  
• Understanding of automotive communication and diagnostic frameworks.
  
• Hands-on experience with:
  
• IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment)
  
• TBOX / Telematics
  
• ​CAN bus diagnostics & tools
  
• Strong test case design and execution skills.
  
• Clear documentation habits: test results, defect logs, and reports.
