Job Summary**
Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compensation:
$16.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities**
* Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized equipment and technical manuals.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering mechanisms.
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive vocational program or ASE certification is highly preferred.
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably within a dealership or independent repair shop setting.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
* Proficient in using computerized diagnostic equipment and software.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions.
