Senior OTA Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior OTA Software Test Engineer to support end-to-end verification and validation of automotive Software Updates/OTA systems. The role will focus on test strategy, automation, framework development, defect analysis, and collaboration with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated and manual test strategies using vTestStudio and custom frameworks.
• Develop reusable test automation using Python, Bash, and CAPL.
• Perform embedded and system-level verification and validation testing.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and document software defects.
• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Optimize test execution pipelines and improve automation efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and project teams to ensure test coverage.
• Track test progress, defects, risks, and software updates.
• Prepare test procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance on vTestStudio, scripting, and automation best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement and automotive testing initiatives.
