Automotive Used Car Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at our Lincoln dealership in Doylestown, PA!

This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional who understands the used car business, enjoys leading a team, and knows how to effectively manage inventory while driving sales and profitability.

Compensation: $110,000-$150,000

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
• Structure deals and assist with closing sales.
• Appraise trade-ins and acquire quality pre-owned inventory through auctions, wholesalers, dealerships, customers, and other sources.
• Attend vehicle auctions and coordinate dealership vehicle swaps.
• Manage used vehicle inventory, pricing, and aged inventory to maximize profitability and inventory turn.
• Oversee the vehicle reconditioning process to ensure vehicles are frontline-ready quickly.
• Monitor inventory regularly and develop strategies for vehicles approaching 21, 30, and 60 days in stock.
• Ensure vehicles are properly priced, advertised, merchandised, and displayed.
• Monitor departmental expenses and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Partner with dealership leadership to achieve overall sales and profitability goals.

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive sales or used vehicle management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-development skills.
• Experience with vehicle appraisals, inventory management, pricing, and acquisition.
• Results-driven with a strong understanding of the automotive sales process.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
