Windshield Technician Job Details

• Perform mobile and fixed site installation and removal, and repair of auto glass in a wide variety of auto, light truck, and commercial vehicles.
• Utilize hand and power tools to remove moldings, wipers, mirrors, windshields, door glass, and back glass minimizing any vehicle damage that could occur.
• Review daily auto glass jobs itinerary and ensure that replacement glass has arrived in good condition from supplier and additional parts / items for installations are on hand.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Windshield Technician Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least two years of work experience
• Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. regularly
• National Glass Association (NGA) certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
• Willing to work in a fast paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
• Positive attitude.

Working Conditions

• Job duties are primarily performed in a garage or outdoor environment.
• Team-based work.
• Fast paced work environment.
• May be required to work at other job sites within close proximity
