Localizada em São Francisco do Sul/SC, a unidade Vega é reconhecida como uma das mais modernas unidades de transformação de aços planos do mundo, tem capacidade de produção instalada de 2,2 milhões de toneladas de aço/ ano. Suas bobinas laminadas a frio e galvanizadas atendem, principalmente, às indústrias automotivas, de eletrodomésticos, de produção de tubos e construção civil.

Desde sua implantação, a ArcelorMittal Vega representa um dos mais maiores investimentos privados da história de Santa Catarina.
