As a Verzorgende IG at WelThuis, you provide daily care to elderly people with dementia or somatic care needs, working based on the individual care plan. In daily interactions, you support residents with personal care, such as washing, dressing, eating. moving, and other recurring care moments. You perform technical nursing procedures within your authority and closely monitor changes in physical or mental condition. With residents with dementia, you are attentive to changing behavior, restlessness, or disorientation, and you adapt your approach to what the individual needs at that moment. On the ward, you play an active role in maintaining order, calm, and safety, and you take responsibility for the flow of care throughout the day. You act independently. collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and informal caregivers, and maintain contact with doctors, treating physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively and ensure continuity. WelThuis is looking for verzorgenden IG for location Het Olympiadehuis (4 vacancies) and location Wilgenhoven (4 vacancies) You have a command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, at least at level 2F/B1, You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) (costs will be reimbursed). You enjoy working with elderly and you show this in your work, You are permitted to work in the Netherlands, You are willing to work various shifts according to the schedule (short, long, and occasional night shifts), You hold an MBO-3 diploma as a verzorgende, an equivalent qualification, or a CIBG certificate, Relevant work experience and up-to-date practical knowledge is a plus. The salary at WelThuis ranges from 2663,54 to 3592,96 (based on 36 hours, CAO VT FWG 35). 8 percent holiday allowance and 8.3 percent end-of-year bonus.
